Nov 22 Blue Light Ceremony

The 4th Annual Blue Light Ceremony was held Saturday November 22, 2008. The thin blue line was glowing brilliant blue for which we are grateful. We had a nice turn out as well as good press regarding the ceremony and its purpose. We were blessed to have all of our speakers turn out for a crisp cool evening to participate and offer time as well as kind and generous words.

Mar 23-25 Traumas of Law Enforcement/Line of Duty Death Conference:
Kahler Hotel in Rochester, MN.

This is a 3-day, 21-hour sessions Conference held regionally across the country. These trainings include but are not limited to:

• Police victimization.
• Research Findings from agencies and survivors.
• Police suicide.
• Disabled officers.
• The stages of grieving.
• Male grief vs. female grief.
• The trauma of losing a co-worker.
• The role of CISD.
• Diffusing and debriefing.
• Support programs/organizations.
